Issue 10 Property Spring 2003

Artist Project / Odd Lots 2

Matthew Northridge

Artist: Matthew Northridge
Plan for lot unseen on block 2406, Queens:

Rivaling the nearby basketball hoop, rising above the tree—an elevated blue cottage complete with landscaping.

The interior lot measures 4.08’ x 5.0’ x 5.83’ x 5.58’, large enough for an anchored pole. This estate is an idealized model and still quite fake.

Matthew Northridge is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. He recently had his first solo show at Gorney Bravin + Lee.
