Artist Project / Wear Them All

Made in the shades

San Keller

The Swiss artist San Keller’s low-key conceptual interventions often deploy humor to deflate the self- regard of various art world institutions, tropes, and characters, including himself. For his work Wear Them All, Keller was photographed trying on every style of sunglasses available for purchase from the Ottica Aventino opticians in Rome, producing a kind of serialized typology of self-deprecation out of an awkward everyday experience.
