John Colle Rogers’s ongoing Accidental Graffiti series documents
paint smears left on the concrete dividers along California highways as a result
of automobile accidents.
John Colle Rogers is a sculptor and professional blacksmith based in Oakland, CA. A member of San Francisco’s Survival Research Laboratories, his investigations into accelerated culture include photographing freeways and making art with firearms. His conceptual installations lampoon the military-industrial complex through humorous documentation and architectural models.
